How to schedule a Microsoft Teams meeting

There are a few ways to schedule a meeting in Teams:

  1. To book a meeting with people in a chat, click on  Schedule a meeting  which can be found below the box where you type a new message or
  2. On the left side of the app, Go to Calendar and select New meeting in the top right corner.

Select a meeting time in the calendar. A scheduling form will pop open.

Use the scheduling form to give your meeting a title, add the details/agenda and invite people.

To invite people outside your organisation, Go to Add required attendees and enter the individual’s full email address and then click on Invite. They will receive an email with a link to your Team’s meeting.
