You can move your BT phone, broadband and TV services all in one go by using BT’s dedicated moving home service.
- You need to provide your BT account number, current phone number, new address and moving date. You can also take your equipment with you when you move
- There is no charge for your new connection, and no need to set up a new Direct Debit.
- You should try to give BT at least two weeks’ notice so they can have everything ready for the day you move in. However, they can support shorter notice periods in most cases.
- You can check what speeds are available in your new area and decide what’s best for you.
- If you choose to keep your existing package, you will need to plug in your hub as soon as you get to your new place.
If BT knows that there will be a delay, of more than two days, they will offer you a BT or EE 4G Mini Hub powered by the EE network. And they will give you unlimited mobile data to get you online as quickly as possible. All at no extra cost to you.
You may be able to transfer your old number to your new address, depending on availability. If not, BT will give you a new number.
