No Contract / Monthly rolling broadband only deals

At the time of writing, NOW broadband have the cheapest monthly rolling broadband deals. As standard all monthly rolling contract have a set-up fee of around £20.

Virgin Media and Hyperoptic broadband are the fastest providers no contract broadband providers with speeds of up to 1Gb (1,000Mb+).

There are a few other options available to you if you don’t want to go through the hassle of setting up a short-term/No contract broadband package. Alternatives to short-term no contract broadband include:

• Tethering –  If you have a lot of data available of your mobile contract you can use your phone as a WiFi hotspot. Alternative if your data package is limited you could contact your provider to upgrade your data package.
• 4G or 5G home broadband Deals – Providers such as Three, EE and Vodafone offer some of their 4G and 5G broadband packages on monthly rolling contracts.
• Create your own broadband Solution –  Sign up for a mobile provider that offers cheap unlimited data sim only deals such as Voxi. Insert the sim into an old phone and tether to it via cable or as a wifi hotspot. If you don’t have a phone, you can buy a broadband dongle for the sim card.

No contract broadband packages are exactly the same as traditional contract packages.

If you don’t have an active landline or the required equipment, an engineer will be required.

• You may also have to pay for the equipment
• Limited new customer deals, offers or incentives

Advantages of short-term no contract broadband include:

• Flexibility of not being tied in for a long period but you are still in a monthly contract.
• No cancellation fees – option to cancel your broadband contract at any time without termination fees
• Opportunity to test a providers service before committing
• Option to change provider at short notice if a better deal comes along
• Access to the same fast broadband as long-term contract customers

Virgin Media, Now, Direct Save Telecom, Hyperoptic and Cuckoo offer broadband without a contract.
