Finding Broadband Deals with BT Sport can be a little challenging. We have collated a full list of all the options available to help you get BT Sport irrespective of your broadband supplier.
The BT Sport Monthly Pass
If you do not want to change any of your Broadband services, you can purchase a BT Sport Monthly Pass.
The BT Sports Monthly Pass gives you full access to all the BT Sport channels for £25 per month and is contract-free.
You do not have to be a BT customer to purchase a Sports Pass membership.
BT Sport Monthly pass gives you access to the full pack of BT Sport channels – BT Sport 1, BT Sport 2, BT Sport 3, BT Sport ESPN and any other live events on BT Sport Ultimate and BT Sport Extra. There are also HD versions of each channel.
The BT Sport Pack will show all UEFA Champions League & UEFA Europa League games broadcast live each season, plus the Premier League, FA Cup, Gallagher Premiership Rugby, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), MotoGP™ and a lot more.
The Monthly Pass lets you watch BT Sport through the BT Sport app and web player on compatible mobile and tablet devices as well as Sony PlayStation, Xbox, Amazon Fire TV devices, Apple TV, TV, Android TV, Roku players and selected Smart TVs, or you could cast to your TV with Chromecast Ultra.
BT Sport app is also available on iPhone, Android and Windows 10.
The BT Sport Monthly Pass is a separate subscription and it does not integrate or allow you to watch BT Sport through your Sky, Virgin or any other TV provider set-top box.
How to get BT Sport on BT broadband
As a starting point, let us have a look at the available options to get BT Sport via a BT broadband package.
This section looks at the options available for new and existing BT broadband customers and SKY TV customers that would like to add BT Sport to their package or move to BT Broadband.
New BT Broadband Customers
If you would like to switch your Broadband to BT, BT Broadband prices currently start from £26.99 for their 35Mb download speed broadband package.
BT Sport is available as part of the TV & Broadband package deal or as a separate add-on for £7.50 a month (Normally £15) on a new BT broadband package order.
How to include BT Sport on your new broadband package order
New customers can add BT Sport add-on to their broadband package during the ordering process.
- Visit https://www.bt.com/broadband/deals/ and choose the BT broadband package you like to order.
- On the second step decide whether you would like to add Complete Wi-Fi to your package. You can skip to the next step if you do not want to add Complet Wi-Fi.
- Click ‘Add and continue’ on the next step to Add BT Sport
- Click continue to finish placing your order.
Existing BT Broadband Customers
Existing BT Broadband customers can add BT Sport to their broadband package for £7.50 a month (Normally £15).
Freeview channels will also be included in your BT sports subscription.
How to add BT Sport to your existing BT broadband package
Adding BT sport to your existing package is simple.

How to get BT Sports on Sky broadband
BT Sport channels are available as an add-on for new and existing Sky broadband customers.
New Sky Broadband Customers
New Sky customers will need to order a Broadband and SKY TV package and then add the BT Sport add-on to the package.
BT Sport is available as an addon and at the time of writing is priced at £25 a month (31-day rolling contract).
How to include BT Sport on a new Sky broadband package order
- Visit https://www.sky.com/shop/tvandbroadband/ and select your new broadband package.
- On the next screen, select the ‘Customise your package’ button.
- On the screen that appears click the ‘view more’ button to see more options
- Select BT Sport and then complete your order
New Sky TV only Customers
Customers who do not want to switch their broadband to Sky can purchase a Sky TV package and then customise it to add BT Sport.
Sky TV-only packages currently start at £25 a month which includes Netflix.
The BT Sports add-on is currently an additional £25 a month on a 31-day rolling contract.
Alternatively, you could opt for the standalone BT Sport Monthly Pass instead but you will not be able to view BT Sport through your Sky TV box.
How to include BT Sport on a new SKY TV only Package order

- On the next screen, select the ‘Customise your package’ button.
- On the screen that appears click the ‘view more’ button to see more options
- Select BT Sport and then complete your order
Existing Sky Broadband-only customers
If you are a Sky broadband customer and would not like to change anything, you can purchase a BT Sport Monthly Pass direct from BT.
Existing Sky TV-only customers
Existing Sky TV customers can add BT Sport to their Sky subscription. BT add-on for Sky TV customers is currently £29.99.
How to add BT Sport on an existing Sky TV Package
You will need to have your Sky viewing card when you so that BT can link the BT Sport subscription to your Sky TV package.
- Visit https://www.bt.com/sport/sky and select a BT Sport package
- Enter your Sky viewing card number on the next screen. This ensures that the BT Sport package will be added to your Sky TV package.
- Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the addition of BT Sport to your Sky TV.
You could opt for the BT Sport Monthly Pass but it will not be integrated and you will not be able to watch BT Sport through your Sky box.
A little hack to get BT Sport on Sky TV cheaper
If you are planning to move your broadband to Plusnet but keep your TV with Sky, you can add BT sport to your Sky TV through Plusnet for only £9.99.
Simply order your new Plusnet broadband package and then add BT Sport to your Sky Package (through Plusnet) after your Plusnet broadband has been installed.
How to get BT Sport on TalkTalk broadband
To get BT Sport on TalkTalk broadband, you will need to add TalkTalk TV (currently £4 per month) to your broadband package.
You need to ensure you have the TalkTalk Plus box in order to add BT Sport.
The TalkTalk Plus box costs £25 and the monthly BT Sports subscription through the Youview TalkTalk TV plus box is £29.99.
That equates to £33.99 per month (£29.99 BT Sport + £4 per month TalkTalk TV) therefore we would recommend you go for the BT Sport Monthly Pass which works out cheaper at £25 per month.

Existing TalkTalk broadband customers

How to get BT Sport on Plusnet broadband
Plusnet has a number of cheap options for customers to get BT Sport.
New Plusnet customers
New Plusnet customers can get BT sport by either ordering a standard (10Mb) Plusnet broadband package and then getting the BT Sport app through Plusnet for only £10.
Alternatively, you can get BT Sport through Plusnet’s YouView TV package. You will need to order a fibre broadband package and then you have the option of adding a Plusnet YouView TV package followed by BT Sport (£15 p/m altogether).
Existing Plusnet customers
If you are an existing Plusnet customer, you can get BT Sport via one of the following options:
- Get the BT Sports App through Plusnet for 10 p/m
The BT Sport app is available on Mobile, Tablet, Xbox, PlayStation, Apple TV, Smart TV and Samsung TV, meaning you can watch sport on any size screen. You can also cast your screen to your TV if you have Google Chromecast or a similar casting dongle.

The Plusnet Youview TV package costs £5 p/m plus the BT Sport subscription which is currently £10 p/m. This is still very cheap. You need to be on a Plusnet Fibre package to be eligible for Youview TV package. How to get BT Sport on EE broadband
New EE broadband customers
All EE TV broadband and TV deals include Apple TV 4K and BT Sport.
EE TV and Broadband Packages are very competitively priced.
New EE Mobile customers
New EE mobile customers opting for a EE Mobile Smart plan can select BT Sport App as one of their swappable benefits.
Existing EE customers
Existing EE Mobile customers can get BT Sport (through the BT Sport App) by simply texting Text SPORT to 150 to start a free 3 months trial.
This offer is for EE customers with a pay monthly, 12-month SIM only, tablet or data SIM plan. After the 3 month trial period, access to the BT Sport app will be £10 per month.
You can cancel the BT Sport subscription at any time by texting STOP SPORT to 150.
How to get BT Sport on Virgin Media
New Virgin Media customers
New Virgin Media customers can opt for the ‘Bigger broadband packages which include BT Sport (and Sky sports) have an entry broadband speed of 108Mb.
