Is the wireless the cause of the performance issue?
The root cause of the performance issue may be your Wifi network as opposed to the Ethnet broadband internet connection.
You can rule out the Wifi by simply connecting your PC directly into the Ethnet broadband router with a network cable and then run the Ethnet Speed checker again.
If the result is better when you are connected using an ethernet cable, this proves that the problem could be with your Wi-Fi network.
A number of things to look further into:

Do I need a Wifi booster for my Ethnet broadband?
