How to troubleshoot Avanti internet speed problems

Is your Wifi the cause of the slowness?

The root cause of the performance problem could be your internal Wifi network as opposed to the Avanti broadband connection.

You could rule out the wireless by simply connecting your computer directly to the Avanti broadband router with a network cable and then run the Avanti Speedtest again.

If the performance is better when you are connected using a network cable, this proves that the issue could be with the Wifi network.

Possible things to look further into:

• Are the WiFi channels that you’re using for your Wifi network (SSID) overlapping with your neighbors?
• Is your Wifi network signal from the wireless router obstructed?
