Troubleshooting WightCable internet performance issues
Before you begin troubleshooting the performance of your WightCable broadband connection, we recommend that you run a WightCable Internet Speed Test to confirm your current internet speed.

The root cause of the performance issue may be your wireless network and not the WightCable broadband connection.
You could rule out the Wifi by connecting your computer directly to the WightCable broadband router using an ethernet cable and then run the WightCable Speedtest again.
If the result is better when you are connected via a network cable, this indicates that the issue may be with the Wi-Fi network.
Possible things to investigate:
- Are the WiFi channels that you are using for your Wi-Fi network network (SSID) overlapping with the neighbours?
- Is the wireless signal from the wireless router obstructed?
- Does your performance get better when your are stood directly infront of the WightCable internet router?
